They are looking for a Global Procurement Director – IT to lead IT procurement efforts and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.Responsibilities:Develop and execute the IT procurement strategy to support the company’s global operations.Manage global procurement network and provide core procurement support functions.Negotiate large scale complex supply and non‐retail contracts.Deliver procurement synergies derived from standardisation of efforts, exploiting unleveraged scale opportunities, consolidating vendor partners and distribution points, and challenging current business models and technologies.Manage and direct procurement BPO partner and suppliers.Design, implement, and secure strong governance for the procurement systems and tools across all geographies and functional areas.Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and relationship management for IT services, hardware, software, and professional services.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT procurement activities with business goals and objectives.Implement cost-saving initiatives and drive continuous improvement in IT procurement processes.Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and service level agreements.Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.Mentor and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.Represent the company in external negotiations and industry forums.Qualifications and Experience:Masters/Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.10 years of experience in IT procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven record of successful strategic IT procurement and supplier management.Knowledge of IT industry trends and best practices.Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience working in a global, cross-functional team environment.Establish, develop, and nurture new partnerships and supplier portfolio globally for the relevant categories.Manage global procurement network and provide core procurement support.Establish fruitful internal network and great cooperation with internal stakeholders to secure optimal scale and maximization of cost savings.Exemplary multitasking and organisational skills given competing priorities and deadlines.Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor the message and delivery to a wide range of internal and external stakeholder groups.Advanced experience with MS Office; SAP, Ariba, Coupa or similar.Self-driven personality who can engage with and secure execution from others.Flexibility to work non-traditional hours due to global time zones and be willing to travel as required.What We Offer:Commensurate salary and benefits package for such a role.Opportunities for career growth and development.A dynamic and inclusive work environment.Global travel opportunities.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionPurchasing, Project Management, and Supply ChainIndustriesRetail, Food and Beverage Services, and Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage
