Job Title: Health & Safety Adviser
A highly skilled and ambitious individual is required to assist the current HSEQ Team in a well-established construction company.
The Role
* Report into the Health & Safety Manager
* Keep staff aware of Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Communicate with Senior Management and Site teams on Health and Safety requirements for site
* Carry out Audits on site and relay results to senior management
* Devise and implement strategies to improve H&S on site and in office
* Uphold PPE Stocks, ensuring staff are well equipped for site work
* Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site and its presence
* Carry out method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
* Organise site visits, assessments and reporting
* Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
Requirements
* Health & Safety background
* Full Driving License
* Understanding ISO Management Systems
* 3+ years in a relevant position
* NEBOSH certification desired
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint
