Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer
Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork
Contract Duration: 12 months
Coordinate and participate in design, construction, and commissioning activities on site. Lead projects for facility modifications and equipment procurement.
Assist the Core Projects Manager in planning and tracking of activities. Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure clear communication between parties.
Provide technical process support to the project team throughout the project life cycle.
Generate and execute commissioning and qualification activities if required. Generate change controls on Electronic QMS and drive their closure in a timely manner.
Review turnover documentation from vendors. Set up and review contracts with legal representatives.
Supervise vendor engineers and contractors during engineering works on single or multiple projects.
Use Permit to Work system or other safety systems of work to control engineering activities.
Participate in HAZOP and design reviews. Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals, and handover documentation.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* 6 years' experience in Biopharmaceutical environment
* Honorable Degree or Master's in Science or Mechanical Engineering discipline (preferably Biotechnology)
* Demonstrated knowledge in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical technical/manufacturing operations
* Experience of involvement in a technical project an advantage
* Knowledge of Regulations and applicable standards for Quality, Safety, Regulatory within the biopharmaceutical industry
* Skills in Project Management and Mechanical Engineering
