Job Title: Supervising Pharmacist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Pharmacist to join our team in Dublin 12.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services, following all legislative, contractual, professional and ethical obligations, and offering expert advice to patients, pharmacy staff and other health professionals about health and medicines.
* Complete and manage the dispensing process with accuracy and efficiency.
* Supervise and direct the activities of pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
* Manage pharmacy stock levels to maintain optimal inventory levels.
* Evaluate and implement effective data checking processes according to store operations.
* Provide expert guidance on the safe and appropriate use of all medicines and complementary medicines to patients.
* Offer specialist advice to pharmacy staff on the safe and appropriate use of medicines, particularly over-the-counter and pharmacy-only medicines.
* Assess patients' symptoms and provide advice on treatment options.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, customers, and suppliers.
* Communicate effectively with diverse groups, including patients, pharmacy staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (with no conditions attached).
* A minimum of three years post-registration experience, preferably in an Irish retail pharmacy.
* Previous experience as a Supervising Pharmacist is preferred but not essential.
* Extensive experience in operating a community pharmacy.
* Demonstrated capability to perform effectively as a pharmacist.
* Ability to form effective relationships with stakeholders and customers.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated commitment to quality service provision.
* Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Honesty, integrity, and understanding of confidentiality.
* EU residency or a valid employment permit is required.
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
