What is the Role:
This role presents an exciting new full-time opportunity within a friendly, collaborative, fast-paced, and data-intensive team within the 2K Player Experiences Services department. As an Associate Program Manager at 2K, you will play a pivotal role in the execution and delivery of products, services, and features that extend the 2K gaming experience, creating an ecosystem of player touchpoints. You will be responsible for managing complex technical projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams across the business, and delivering products, services, and features crucial for the continued commercial success of the 2K business to the highest quality standards.
You will work in Player Experiences Services and will steer our efforts in successfully building, operating, and servicing our business units to understand our players and enhance their in and out of game experiences to engage, entertain, and thrill our vibrant 2K community. The Player Experiences Services team comprises diverse experts dedicated to strategic and executional excellence across in-game and out-of-game compliance, business intelligence, game-extending products, and program management. Together, they collaborate to ensure the seamless end-to-end delivery of innovative and memorable player-focused experiences.
What You Will Do:
1. Program Management - Assist in facilitating the alignment between Player Services' strategic goals and the execution of prioritized initiatives, ensuring successful delivery with a focus on driving business success.
2. Project Management - Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of projects, from conception to delivery and application. Manage and prioritize work. Develop project plans, schedules, and track progress against milestones. Identify and mitigate project risks and proactively address issues that may arise.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate closely with teams across the business and across our partner labels to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements. Facilitate communication and coordination among various teams to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Relationship Management and Stakeholder Communication - Regularly communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and partners of various levels. Provide transparency and visibility into project progress.
5. Planning and Prioritization - Work closely with both senior leadership and functional teams to prioritize cross-functional initiatives, identify dependencies, and create strategic roadmaps for key products, services, and feature upgrades.
What Skills Are Needed:
1. Self-starter and quick learner with the confidence and ability to tackle new initiatives, as well as challenge the status quo by bringing fresh eyes to the table.
2. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships both within the team and with cross-functional partners.
4. Ability to communicate complex business initiatives with diverse stakeholder groups.
5. Highly organized and an effective multi-tasker, with demonstrated attention to detail.
6. Technical knowledge and/or interest in marketing technology platforms and tools, product compliance, data science and analysis techniques, and player journey strategy.
7. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
8. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Experience with project management and communication tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
