They are expanding their team and are seeking a Junior Design Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Design Engineer eager to advance your career, or a Technician ready to take the next step into a dynamic engineering role within the agricultural machinery sector.
You will work closely with and report directly to the Senior Design Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in a highly supportive environment. The company also welcome applications from recent Mechanical Engineering graduates who are passionate about kickstarting their careers.

A third-level degree is required.
Are you the right person for the job?
* Third level degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* 1-3 years of Engineering experience desired
* Proficient with Solid Edge or Solid Works drawing software
* Proficient in reading & understanding technical drawings and specifications
* Proficient using all aspects of Microsoft Office
* Graphic design experience, desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interpret and communicate data accurately
* Must be reliable, motivated and have an excellent work ethic
* Ability to work as part of a team
What will your role look like?
* Design, develop or improve solutions for new and existing customers
* Support sales activities for key customers with technical calls and visits as and when required
* Prepare drawings for plasma cutting and press brake operations
* Check and update production documentation as required
* Liaise with Senior Designer and Production on design improvements
* Provide technical support to customers/distributors and suppliers
* Remote working not available
