Experience with Sage accounting software and advanced excel reporting essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Daily cash reconciliation from sales - credit and cash
* Manage Monthly management reporting
* Bookkeeping to Trial Balance stage
* Advanced Excel Reporting
* Cash forecasting
* Bank accounts management
* Daily accounts payable management including vendor account set up, liaising with suppliers for any discrepancy or query resolution and processing all invoices
* Accounts receivable invoice processing and assessing outstanding debts, payment terms and risk of new accounts
* Project costing assistance with the company accountant.
* Profit and loss reporting
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Month end reporting
* Invoicing, bank reconciliations, electronic payments and monthly cashflow projections
* Managing ledgers, balances and reconcile same to monthly supplier statements
* Preparation of VAT returns and P30’s
* Processing weekly payroll
* Assigning invoices to projects
* Monitoring emails, dealing with accounts queries
* Assisting with credit control
* Tracking project spends and budgets
* Assisting with general office and administration duties.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage 50.
* Deliver excellent customer service by answering calls efficiently and professionally.
* Handle an assigned workload of emails or queries and follow them through to completion.
* Maintain adherence to data protection and company protocols.
* Assist with general office administration, including logistics inquiries, delivery issues, and damage claims.
* Collect paperwork, manage email accounts, and perform filing tasks.
* Provide general accounting support and perform ad hoc duties as needed

What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a busy office environment.
* Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Experience with Sage Accounts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly telephone manner.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong numeracy skills and the ability to follow-up and prioritise
* Organised and self-motivated, capable of working on your own initiative and meeting deadlines.
* Fluency in English is essential.
* A natural problem-solver with a flair for figures and the ability to analyse and think critically.
* Have a solid understanding of bookkeeping and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
* Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounts Technician qualification
* The ability to be efficient and work to deadlines with limited supervision.
* You’ll need to be professional, persistent, well presented and trustworthy.
* Knowledge of IT and CRM systems an advantage.
