Job Description:
Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland's largest indigenous consultancy firms with centres of excellence in Sustainable Infrastructure, Circular Economy, Environment, and Energy and Planning.
FT provides expert planning, environmental studies, preliminary planning design services to clients in the renewable energy sector and delivers comprehensive design and contract management services for infrastructure projects such as roads, greenways, bridgeworks, rail, solid waste facilities, renewable energy, drainage, water and wastewater treatment facilities, airports, tunnels, and gas pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing individual contracts to deliver high-quality ecological consultancy services
* Providing expert ecological input for various projects
* Planning, conducting, and supervising site ecological surveys and fieldwork
* Preparing and monitoring Construction Environmental Management Plans
* Undertaking Appropriate Assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments (Ec IAs)
* Writing technical reports and other deliverables
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in ecology or a related subject
* A minimum of 10 years of postgraduate experience in environmental consultancy
* Member of CIEEM, CIWEM, or an equivalent professional body
* Excellent technical report writing skills
* Experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams
