F We are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to join our team based at SETU - Carlow.

Setting up for events held on-site, ensuring smooth operations.
Delivering parcels throughout the university efficiently and accurately.
Liaising with contractors performing on-site work, managing their access and activities.
Responding promptly to fire alarm and intruder alarm activations, ensuring safety and security.
Supporting clients and the university team with daily operational needs on-site.
Assisting staff with opening and closing offices as required.
Conducting regular checks for maintenance issues and reporting them to the on-site line manager.
Performing Legionella control measures, including daily flushing of showers and taps to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
The Person: Experience working within Estates Function Be prepared to undertake additional training or be mentored in order to fulfil the requirements of the post Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.

Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
