About the Role
The firm is seeking an experienced Director to join their team, offering a clear path to partnership. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional looking to grow with a dynamic and ambitious organization.
The Director will be responsible for providing accounting, audit, and advisory services to the SME market, focusing on timely delivery of client assignments, organizing statutory accounts, audits, and tax returns, and managing a portfolio of clients.
* Ensure timely delivery of client assignments in accordance with departmental workflow and billing targets.
* Organize, plan, and complete statutory accounts, audits, management accounts, and tax returns (Corporation Tax and VAT) in accordance with the workflow plan.
* Prepare and complete ad-hoc advisory assignments.
* Capture and report KPIs relevant for Key Performance Management purposes.
The successful candidate will have:
* A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
* 5+ years of PQE with Irish Practice experience.
* Knowledge of the Irish tax system.
* A proven track record of leading, managing, building, and developing a team of accounting professionals.
* Strong technical knowledge and skills of Accounting and Auditing standards (IAS, IFRS, Auditing Standards etc.).
* Ambition and a good understanding of accounting software packages.
