We are currently recruiting for a part time Administrative Assistant on behalf of an educational institution for an immediate start.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Research Contracts Legal team, providing essential administrative support and facilitating effective communication with the research community. This role includes managing post-award support services and assisting with processes related to grant/contract reviews, drafting, and legal support. Additionally, the coordinator will collaborate with funding agencies and external partners in relation to research contracts. The role may also involve contributing to the development and implementation of contract management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Research Office legal team by overseeing the process of contract review and execution, ensuring effective communication with the research community on contract-related procedures.
2. Respond to researcher inquiries concerning contract reviews and the initiation of grants.
3. Implement and monitor post-award workflows, ensuring the timely progression of contract reviews.
4. Ensure proper documentation and filing of contracts and related communications, maintaining efficient document management systems.
5. Demonstrate a broad skillset in office administration, data management, and familiarity with university online platforms.
6. Take on additional tasks such as ordering supplies, coordinating events, and managing meetings as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
1. At least two years of experience in providing high-level administrative support within a busy office environment.
2. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize a range of complex tasks and deadlines.
3. Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to effectively interact with a variety of internal stakeholders.
4. Capacity to work independently and take ownership of tasks while collaborating across different teams.
5. Proven experience in managing large-scale, time-sensitive projects.
