The Payroll Specialist /HR Support will be based in Gort, Ireland and will support the accurate processing of multiple EU payrolls, manage the global Time and Attendance process, and play a key role in the implementation of Dayforce HR and payroll across all EU countries in 2025. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in payroll administration, a strong understanding of HR systems, and the ability to manage complex processes across different regions.
Key Responsibilities:
* EU Payroll Administration:
o Support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple EU countries, ensuring compliance with local payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor agreements.
o Work closely with external payroll providers to gather necessary information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth payroll execution.
o Perform audits and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local and EU-wide standards.
* Global Time and Attendance Management:
o Manage the global Time and Attendance system to ensure all employee hours, overtime, leave, and attendance are accurately tracked and processed.
o Monitor attendance records across various regions, collaborating with HR and operational teams to resolve discrepancies or issues related to time reporting.
o Support system integrations between timekeeping, payroll, and HR platforms to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.
* Dayforce HR and Payroll Implementation (EU Countries):
o Play a key role in the implementation of Dayforce HR and Payroll across all EU countries in 2025, ensuring smooth transition and integration with local payroll providers.
o Collaborate with the HRIS team, project managers, and external consultants to support the setup and customization of Dayforce for each EU market.
o Assist in data migration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure a successful implementation.
* HR Administration Support:
o Assist with general HR administrative tasks such as employee records management, onboarding, compliance reporting, and benefits administration.
o Prepare and assist in HR-related reports, including payroll summaries, compensation data, and other compliance documentation.
* Compliance and Reporting:
o Ensure compliance with GDPR and other local data privacy regulations related to payroll and time tracking information.
o Stay up to date on legislative changes in payroll and HR practices across the EU and globally, adjusting systems and processes as necessary to remain compliant.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Experience:
o Previous experience in payroll administration, HR, or accounting with a focus on multi-country payroll processing, particularly within the EU.
o Hands-on experience with Dayforce is highly desirable.
o Experience supporting the implementation or migration of HR and payroll systems is an advantage.
* Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of EU payroll regulations, tax laws, and employment legislation.
* Skills:
o Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
o Proficiency in Excel.
o Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
* Personal Attributes:
o Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
o Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
o Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
