Job Title: Strategic NPI Manager
Locations:
* Parsippany NJ (US)
* Dublin (Ireland) preferred, but other Zoetis Global Manufacturing & Supply locations will be considered.
The primary purpose of this role is to plan, coordinate, and follow up on all activities related to global new product introductions from initiation to closure.
This involves effective coordination across various Zoetis teams and departments to ensure the supply chain supports launch success, achieves best time to market post-approval, and can support sustainable supply longer term.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Initiation:
o Analyze sourcing options, assessing supply chain risks and logistics costs.
o Coordinate with Global Commercial Development & Network Strategy on long-term forecast assumptions and presentations.
o Facilitate cost/capacity/volume analysis and planning.
2. Planning:
o Develop project plans in sync with EPM timelines and Co-Development milestones.
o Co-coordinate Master data set-up and flex routing.
o Foster launch team(s), facilitating NPI reviews and tracking progress to plan.
3. Execution:
o Provide monthly updates for S&OP and review with Senior Leaders.
o Develop launch plans in consultation with market teams, GCD, and Commercial leadership.
o Assess opportunities for timeline acceleration/mitigation.
4. Closure:
o Manage issue resolution across the supply chain.
o Establish continuity of supply and hand over to PSPM for routine replenishment planning.
o Evaluate post-approval changes and consolidate lessons learned.
Requirements:
* Graduate degree in engineering, scientific, or health-related field.
* Relevant advanced degree or training/certificate in supply chain or logistics.
* >10 years of experience in supply chain management.
* 5 years in pharma/animal health industry.
* Experience in New Product Introduction and/or Lifecycle Management preferred.
Technical Skills:
* Good influencing skills.
* Strong cross-business collaborative skills.
* Basis knowledge of business processes including planning, capacity, and supply planning, and life-cycle management.
* Good written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
Physical Requirements:
* The preferred location for this role is Parsippany NJ (US) or Dublin (IRE).
* However, this position may be located at any GMS location within the US or EU.
