Senior Carer Role in Residential Care Home
About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Carer to join our team at a Barchester care home. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of care staff, including training, supervision, and delegating duties on shift.
* Support with medication administration and ordering, reviewing and updating resident care plans, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams, and resident family members.
* Ensure the dignity and preferences of our residents are respected, creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Previous experience in a residential care setting, with proven team leadership skills and decision-making abilities.
* A warm, compassionate, and committed approach to providing individualised care and support.
