In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise to identify hiring needs both now and in the future, post job openings online, monitor recruitment progress, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience for positions across Ireland and Europe. To excel, you should have a solid recruitment background, with experience in sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and effectively managing expectations for both hiring managers and candidates, along with the ability to implement new processes.
We are pleased to announce we are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our expanding team, in our head office in Ballymount, Dublin.
Reports to: HR Director
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with hiring managers, identify priority roles and manage negotiations with candidates.
2. Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter).
3. Maintain excellent stakeholder management skills by maintaining positive relationships with on-site management and external agencies.
4. Maintain an up-to-date tracker of the recruitment process daily for immediate updates.
5. Source candidates through online channels (e.g. professional networks and portfolio sites) and external stakeholders.
6. Screen CVs and applications whilst updating candidates on the hiring process.
7. Manage the interview process with stakeholders including post-interview feedback, offers, negotiations, and onboarding.
8. Lead and manage meetings with hiring managers to provide updates, solutions to hire, quantifying new roles etc.
9. Develop a pipeline of candidates across the business to support future requirements.
10. Report and present to hiring managers and HR Director on the status of open/filled positions.
11. Evaluate candidates based on their interview performance to proceed to the next stages.
12. Manage the day-to-day operations of the recruitment process whilst developing a strategic focus to assess future requirements.
13. Update job descriptions with hiring managers to quantify the job correctly (e.g. add tasks or modify requirements).
14. Ensure an effective turnaround time on queries, feedback, reports, offers etc.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven work experience as an Internal Recruiter, Agency Recruiter with 3+ years’ experience.
2. Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
3. Degree in HR, or Business Studies including HR.
4. Good understanding of Engineering and Construction sector jobs.
5. Experience using various interview formats.
6. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
7. Results focused with a sense of urgency.
8. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
