A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Commercial Business Partner within L'Oréal's Professional Products Division (PPD) in Leinster & Connacht, this role focuses on growing salon accounts, working closely with the Regional Manager.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Drive sales growth within a defined geographic territory by managing and expanding relationships with existing salon accounts and acquiring new ones.
2. Develop tailored business plans for each client based on a deep understanding of the business and data analysis.
3. Emphasize a consultative approach, understanding the client's needs and offering solutions.
You have:
1. Relationship Building and Influencing: The ability to build strong, long-term relationships with salon owners and key decision-makers.
2. Commercial Acumen: A solid understanding of business principles, sales strategies, and financial performance. Analyzing data, interpreting market trends, and developing commercially viable plans.
3. Growth Mindset: Proactively seeking new business opportunities and driving sales growth by identifying potential areas for expansion and developing innovative solutions.
4. Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong communicator, comfortable building and adapting presentations to deliver compelling customer-centric plans.
5. Planning and Organization: Developing and executing structured business plans, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively. Adaptability and the ability to re-prioritize in response to changing circumstances are also important.
6. Development Opportunities: Identifying and supporting opportunities for salon expansion, new service offerings, or other growth initiatives.
7. Irish Professional Hair Market: Comprehensive understanding of the market – ideal but not required.
Reporting Structure: The role reports to the Regional Manager for American Brands Ireland.

1. Growth Plans with top 25 accounts.
2. Achieve cycle promo targets.
3. Provide in-salon training in line with the brand plans.
4. 100% of accounts ordering through L'Oréal partner shop.
5. Great working relationships with Education and PPD commercial team.
I HAVE IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF:
1. Extensive knowledge and experience of colour is an essential requirement.
2. Experience of building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
3. Commercially astute and understands the importance of selling; must be good with figures and able to drive sales of Matrix in a salon environment.
4. Drive to achieve results with a growth mindset and actively look for new solutions.
5. Strong influencing skills with experience of building relationships virtually and face to face.
6. A great communicator, able to give and receive feedback with a positive attitude.
7. Ability to analyze data, draw accurate conclusions, and communicate key messages succinctly.
8. A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and manage ambiguity in a demanding environment.
9. Strong planning and organizational skills – with the ability to re-prioritize as required to meet deadlines.
10. Risk aware and builds contingency into plans.
