Business Continuity Plan Coordinator - Ballina
Position overview
The Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all Business Continuity related activities for the Back-up Plant/Plants assigned. This includes the coordination of BCP pre-activation, activation, and testing activities in accordance with TCCC IMCR and Business Continuity policies and programs. The objective of this position is to ensure that CPS BCP Plans are created and maintained at the right level to support BCP execution. The position reports to the Planning and Logistics Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead BC planning activities in relation to manufacturing and/or sales shift to another CPS site in case of contingency at the Primary Supply Point including development and tracking of timelines for each BCP plan.
2. Lead BCP plans activations activities for the Back-up Plant/Plants assigned.
3. Evaluate capability/capacity requirements for the delivery of the product to the customer as per BCP plans
4. Develop and maintain BCP PSP-CSP agreements. Establish and participate in routines to track status of BCP Plans open actions and gaps.
5. Ensure compliance with country specific legal and religious requirements is met for contingency supply.
6. Communicate status of BCP Plans to PSP and CSP Plants leadership.
7. Communicate status and escalate issues of assigned BCP plans to Global BCP team.
8. Collaborate with Primary Supply Locations and other stakeholders e.g. Planning, QSE, MM, CM, Finance and SRA.
9. Help drive productivity and standardization for BCP related activities.
10. Understand the Unique Ingredient Sourcing Strategies (UISS) for contingency plant
11. Support capacity and capability analysis of BCP volume assigned to the Back-up Plant/Plants.
12. Support BCP test shipment executions
13. Support sales and legal contract review
Skill Requirements/Competencies:
14. Project management skills. Operational Excellence tools and techniques
15. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills, with the ability for detailed assessment of data.
16. Proficiency with SAP Planning and E2E Supply Chain.
17. Experience in Operations, Planning, Product and Portfolio, Customer Service, or Management of Confidential Information an advantage.
18. Excellent communication skills: being able to connect with other Plants and Supply chain teams in the system to enable the execution of BCP plans and understand the business models.
19. Leverage the expertise of the specific functions like formulations, regulatory, production, customer management, finance, transport & logistics etc...
Educational/Professional Experience:
20. 5 years’ experience in a high-volume production facility with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Planning/Supply Chain.
21. Third Level Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline.
