Job Title: Data Scientist
Musgrave, one of Europe's most successful family-owned businesses, is expanding its Data and Analytics team. We are looking for passionate and talented Data Scientists to join the team and make Musgrave a truly data-driven company.

We feed one in three people in Ireland through 11 market-leading food and beverage brands. Our team supports thousands of retail and foodservice family businesses across the island of Ireland and Spain.
Key Responsibilities
* Use abstract thinking and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and pinpoint problems
* Drive data science initiatives requiring analytical and business skills across our business, including customer behavior, segmentation, loyalty, marketing, media, online, and trading
* Provide business partners with data-driven insights to streamline processes, generate revenue, and improve bottom-line performance
* Clearly and concisely explain technical findings to non-analytical peers and business stakeholders
* Utilise best-in-class data mining and statistical techniques to derive business value from store, product, operations, financial, and customer transactional data
Requirements
* 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
* Passionate about using data, analytics, and AI to drive business performance
* Proven track record of using advanced solutions that have transformed business performance
* Ability to query large data sets using SQL with experience with cloud-based environments an advantage
* Proficient in using Python or R
* Experience applying computational algorithms and statistical methods to structured and unstructured data
* A third-level qualification in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science (or equivalent qualification), preferably at post-graduation level
Work Arrangement
Flexible work location in the Republic of Ireland, with offices in Cork and Dublin. Work Smart hybrid work arrangement applies, with frequent travel to Cork required.
Estimated Salary: €70,000 - €90,000 per annum
