Microsoft Entra and Purview Engineer/ Architect (Manager/ Senior Manager) Excellent opportunity working in technical consulting and cyber security you will play a critical role in implementing and managing identity and access management solutions while ensuring robust data governance and compliance. Collaborating with the cybersecurity teams to protect sensitive information and mitigate risks associated with identity and data management.
Essential skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience with Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Purview in a cybersecurity context.
3. Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, including multi-factor authentication and role-based access control.
4. Experience with data governance frameworks, data classification, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR).
5. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) for security operations.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra for secure identity and access management, ensuring adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
2. Configure and maintain Microsoft Purview for effective data governance, classification, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to develop and enforce policies for identity protection, access controls, and data handling.
4. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses related to identity and data governance, recommending remediation strategies.
5. Monitor and analyze access logs, user behaviour, and data usage patterns to identify and respond to potential security threats.
6. Develop and implement incident response plans related to identity and data breaches, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
7. Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity best practices related to identity and data management.
8. Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, particularly those affecting identity and data governance.
Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) and Microsoft certifications related to Azure, Entra, or Purview.
2. Experience with other Microsoft security and compliance tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Azure Security Centre).
3. Familiarity with cloud security best practices and frameworks.
