Job DescriptionTHE POSITION: The Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting transactions and reconciliations including posting entries to the general ledger, analyzing data, supporting month-end close processes and collaborating with employees throughout the organization.
This position also works with third party auditors to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.The role is completely remote and can be based anywhere in Ireland.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:Assisting the team meet established GL & month end close deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.Support the resolution of issues on all assigned accounts and reconciliations to ensure proper and accurate reporting.Preparing of consolidated reports for the business.Bank reconciliation, credit card and indirect tax activitySupport AP with queries and resolutionRecommending and implementing improvements for process and costSupporting improvements to D365 for European entitiesServing as backup to other roles within the Finance department as needed.Performing ad hoc projects and duties as required.EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:Travel – Ad hoc but infrequentHours - 40 Hours per week, 5 days of the weekQualificationsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.Education – Degree in related field or Part Qualified AccountantExperience and/or Training - Minimum of 3-5 years in an accounting role.
