Responsibilities
1. Liaising with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries during the initial setup process for new funds.
2. Managing day-to-day fund operations and maintaining relationships with investors and fund managers.
3. Preparing periodic reports, regulatory reports, and financial statements for fund entities.
4. Calculating Net Asset Value, preparing year-end financial statements, managing audits, and reviewing other fund-related reports.
5. Maintaining accurate records of time spent dealing with client matters for proper invoicing.
6. Proactively taking on additional responsibilities and administrative tasks as required by managers or clients.
Your Profile
1. Degree-level education in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
2. Relevant experience in fund administration, audit, or fiduciary services.
3. Knowledge of the fund industry, valuation, and accounting principles.
4. Basic knowledge of accounting for investment products, particularly closed-ended funds in real estate private equity or debt space.
5. Familiarity with securities commonly encountered in the fund industry, including equities, bonds, contracts for difference, options, and futures.
6. Fluency in English.
7. Strong team spirit, ability to build client relationships, and initiative to act independently when necessary.
