Job Title: Ecommerce Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ecommerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operational aspects of our ecommerce platform. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless, efficient, and scalable operations while delivering a first-class shopping experience for our customers. This role involves managing day-to-day operations such as inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, customer service, and supply chain optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operations Management: Oversee all ecommerce operations from product sourcing to delivery, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Manage inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking; liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely product delivery.
* Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate order processing, shipping, and delivery while minimizing errors and delays.
* Customer Service Collaboration: Work with customer service teams to quickly and efficiently resolve ecommerce-related customer issues.
* Vendor & Third-Party Relationships: Maintain and manage relationships with external vendors, carriers, and logistics partners to streamline operations.
* Platform Management: Oversee the technical aspects of the ecommerce platform, ensure it operates efficiently and securely, and coordinate with IT and development teams for troubleshooting and updates.
* Performance Analytics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, shipping speed, and customer satisfaction; use insights to optimize operational processes.
* Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the ecommerce operational workflow and implement solutions that drive efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
* Budget Management: Manage the operations budget, ensuring costs are controlled without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection and product safety standards.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
* Experience: 7 to 8 years of experience in ecommerce operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.), order management systems, and logistics software.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and performance tracking.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
* Leadership: Proven experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide operational solutions in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and operational efficiency.
