Key duties and responsibilities:
* Create a marketing plan for day to day operations for the sales and marketing function, to increase sales, revenue and profitability.
* Lead generation, face to face meetings, corporate contracting and rate generation (in conjunction with management), attendance at trade shows, client entertainment and sales trips.
* Weekly tracking and monitoring of corporate accounts, identifying increases and decreases and taking the necessary action.
* An excellent knowledge of all social media platforms, Mailchimp (or similar) is essential.
* Analysis of GDS production reports & intelligence to develop business channels.
* Driving events & functions through the businesses.
* Create a quarterly marketing plan to create a focus for the creative team.
* Manage the creative team, provide management with weekly productivity sheets.
* Develop the marketing plan across promotional campaigns, through local and national media, evaluation and reporting on these plans.
* Arrange regular corporate events.
* With the creative department develop the necessary promotional material required.
* Identify competitors, carry out regular competitor analysis, performance, rates and sales.
Experience:
* Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
* 3rd level qualification in Sales & Marketing.
* Full clean driver's licence and own transport.
