Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver high-quality audit and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring engagements are completed efficiently and to the highest professional standards. Based in our South-East office in Enniscorthy, this position plays a key role in driving business development and fostering the growth of our presence in the region. In addition to managing client relationships and leading a team, the role involves identifying new opportunities, expanding the client base, and supporting the continued growth of our South-East office. This dynamic environment offers significant potential for career advancement and professional development as the business continues to thrive.
Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of industries.
2. Taking full responsibility for the successful delivery of audit and accounting engagements within established timelines, ensuring effective communication with both clients and team members.
3. Planning, executing, and finalising audit assignments in accordance with established standards.
4. Leading, managing, motivating, and providing mentorship to team members.
5. Cultivating and maintaining proactive, long-term relationships with audit clients, ensuring their satisfaction not only throughout the audit process but throughout the entire year.
6. Conducting research and addressing technical queries from clients.
7. Providing high-quality auditing services to clients in compliance with industry standards.
8. Managing the timely and successful completion of all audit engagements.
Qualifications / Key Requirements
1. ACA or ACCA qualifications
2. 2-3 years of relevant Post Qualification Experience
3. Previous supervisory, team lead or managerial experience
4. A passion to provide the very best client experience
5. Excellent attention to detail and technical skills
6. Knowledge of business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
8. An effective and motivated team player
9. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
10. Self-starter who can critically analyse and assess information.
