Are you an experienced IT professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic Managed Services environment? We’re hiring a Managed Service Support Engineer to help optimise and enhance our customers’ IT systems, working both remotely and on-site in Dublin.
Responsibilities
1. Alerts Management: Take primary responsibility for handling tickets in the Alerts queue.
2. Continuous Improvement: Work with the Managed Services team to refine processes and reduce ticket volume.
3. Root Cause Analysis: Identify and address recurring alerts to improve system stability.
4. Customer Compliance: Review and report on updates, antivirus, vulnerability scans, and SOC coverage.
5. Onboarding & Deployment: Support agent deployment and customer projects.
6. System Maintenance: Research and develop repeatable software maintenance solutions.
7. Firewall Configuration: Implement and manage firewall changes for security and toolset optimization.
8. Client Engagement: Work closely with customers during onboarding and rollout projects.
Requirements
1. 2+ years’ experience in an MSP Support Centre role or similar.
2. Self-starter mindset, with a drive for efficiency and process improvement.
3. Knowledge of Datto RMM and alerts queue management (essential).
4. Firewall configuration experience.
