What is the opportunity? A great opportunity has arisen for a Document Design Engineer on the Document Management Delivery Team which supports the end-to-end delivery of our customer correspondence from a strategic, regulatory and compliance perspective for Wealth and Insurance.
The primary responsibility of the role involves creating effective and economical solutions that meet business requirements as well as identifying problems and key areas for improvement.
You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure highly effective solution designs and delivery of business changes.
In this role, you will:
Support the Business in delivering efficient Business Specification Requirements for the relevant document template changesAnalyse and identify appropriate end to end solutions to support Business and Technical requirementsAbility to interpret complex technical requirements into business solutions and resolve issues to completionCreate or update existing data models to support business requirementsProvide accurate estimates and adopt responsibility for delivering to agreed timescales and engage with key partners on status of projectsEngage in efficient development, unit testing, integration test and delivery into production of the solution in accordance with our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model.
Be proactive in the delivery of change, coaching others, and influencing outcomes in discussionsSupport application/technology upgrades including migration and decommissioning of applications as the need arisesSeeks and drives continuous improvements by evaluating new technologies, by implementing processes and procedures that provide business benefit and efficiency.
Modify existing products or designs to increase efficiency or improve performance, and innovate the process of turning their designs into realityWhat will make you stand out? More about the teamThe Document Design Engineer position is part of the IT group within the Wealth and Insurance business unit.
The team comprises a dynamic and dedicated mix of IT professionals across the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle.
The role will have a significant impact in delivery of our customer correspondence from key applications.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin.
Travel will be required for in-person collaboration -exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
