PMO Analyst Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented PMO Analyst to join our client's team on a 6-month contract. This exciting opportunity involves working with a leading Irish Plc on a high-profile programme that requires meticulous data management, real-time tracking, and impactful reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Management & Entry:
o Input and manage data for all work packages and deliverables into the project management solution, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Dashboard Design:
o Develop and design dashboards for real-time project tracking and performance monitoring.
o Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, insightful, and meet the needs of stakeholders.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Regularly interact with local project teams to validate and support accurate tracking of deliverables.
o Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to ensure consistency in project updates.
* Risk & Delay Identification:
o Assist the programme director in identifying potential project delays or risks through thorough analysis and tracking.
o Provide proactive solutions and insights to mitigate risks and maintain project timelines.
* Executive Reporting:
o Prepare monthly executive reports in collaboration with the programme director.
o Highlight key project milestones, risks, and achievements in a clear and concise format for senior leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a PMO or project analyst role within a complex programme environment.
* Strong data management and analysis skills, with the ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
* Proficiency in project management tools and solutions (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar).
* Expertise in designing and implementing dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse project teams.
* Demonstrated ability to identify project risks and propose actionable solutions.
* Experience preparing executive-level reports, showcasing clarity and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or similar).
* Experience in large-scale programmes within a corporate environment.
* Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
