About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Sales Operations Manager to join our team. This role can be based in one of our offices in Dublin, Portlaoise, Cork, or Shannon with remote working available.
The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director, Industrial Services, Water & Organics. As a leading provider of resource recovery solutions, Enva operates across 38 facilities in the United Kingdom and Ireland, employing over 1700 people.
We manage a broad range of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials from industrial, commercial, and municipal customers and create valuable products for re-use in manufacturing and energy conversion.
We deploy this dedicated network of facilities and trusted partners to support our customers in dealing with the full range of their waste management and resource recovery challenges.
Our vision is to work in partnership with our stakeholders to help address the pressing issue of sustainability.
Main Duties:
* Manage the sales operations function across the Island of Ireland
* Lead a team of up to 10 Business Development professionals
* Drive top-line growth of the business and profitability through process improvement, strong leadership, and astute sales initiatives
* Drive adoption and utilisation of CRM, including establishment of metrics and reports to highlight adoption and utilisation performance
* Maintain an industry scan on customers and markets to ensure Enva has a competitive advantage
* Additional sales operations project support to be defined in close collaboration with wider team
* Create, develop, and manage sales targets and pipeline to identify current and future tender opportunities
* Develop strong working relationships with potential clients
* Monitor competitor activity and market conditions, reporting key activity, developments, and issues as necessary
* Develop and articulate an effective tender toolkit
* Manage the tenders function, delegating tasks but taking ultimate responsibility for the quality of each submission
* Set and monitor sales KPIs for BDE & BDMs
* Deliver customer service excellence and innovation in our proposals
* Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar sized sales operations / or Sales leadership role
* Experience delivering complex tenders a distinct advantage
* Microsoft Dynamics/Similar CRM experience is an advantage but is not a pre-requisite
* Water, Waste or sustainability industry experience is an advantage, but is not a pre-requisite
