Store Manager (Supermarket) - Co. Mayo
You will make a positive contribution to all aspects of store management, including achieving budgeted sales and profit targets, controlling shrinkage and waste, managing personnel costs, maintaining overall standards and disciplines across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve Sales, Gross Profit Margin, and Net Margin targets as per budget.
* Ensure staff members are trained to EIQA Standards where necessary and maintain the highest level of hygiene throughout the store and among staff.
* Implement a comprehensive HACCP Plan following EIQA and EHO guidelines.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and their application to the store.
* Ensure merchandising and presentation in Fresh Departments meet the highest standards at all times.
* Adhere to weekly stocktaking procedures.
* Attend weekly management meetings and hold departmental meetings to communicate performance and set goals.
* Oversee Food Production Operations.
* Ensure accurate costings for In-house produced products.
* Handle customer requests, queries, and complaints according to company procedures.
* Develop and manage staff rosters within budgeted hours.
* Promote new concepts and ideas and ensure successful implementation.
* Enforce company rules, policies, and procedures at all times.
* Foster exceptional Customer Service among all customers.
* Assume store manager responsibilities in absence.
* Undertake other duties as directed.
* Seek opportunities for personal development through technical training and professional growth.
* Implement a comprehensive succession plan with talent identified, coached, and developed through appropriate training.
