Main Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate and provide quality service to families affected by pregnancy, neonatal, and early childhood loss.
* Coordinate the Termination of Pregnancy services in accordance with legislation.
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support patients and their families.
* Liaise with primary care providers and arrange referrals to the scanning department as needed.
About the Role
The termination of pregnancy service is expected to commence by the end of Q1 2025. As a Clinical Midwife Manager/Clinical Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the delivery of care and providing timely interactions with General Practitioners and women accessing the service.
Requirements
* Eligible applicants must be registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
* At least 5 years post-registration experience, including 2 years in the speciality or related area.
* Clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
