About the Role:
We are seeking applications from candidates with demonstrable expertise in the interaction of the climate emergency and human health which include climate impacts, risk and resilience, disaster preparedness, food safety and security, waste interaction, pollution and impacts from extreme events. Ideally, candidates should have experience of working on such issues with a broad range of disciplines (e.g., veterinary science).
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality research and teaching in the field of health and climate change.
* Contribute to the development of new research initiatives and collaborations.
* Mentor and supervise students at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Requirements:
* PhD in a relevant field.
* Demonstrable expertise in health and climate change.
* Experience of working with a broad range of disciplines.
Working Hours:
Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
