What is the role:
The Digital Analyst will drive and implement solutions to enhance data-driven insights for use by senior stakeholders. They will utilise the tools available to build and interpret data to create insight and recommendation to enable stakeholders to improve marketing performance.
The Digital Analyst will have a clear understanding of the wider data strategy and how digital analytics can play a key part within this. They will assist in developing large scale analytics strategies to support the bank’s vision incorporating marketing and performance and customer experience.
This role is part of Group Marketing and specifically within our Marketing Transformation Team. Marketing Transformation is dedicated to placing data and technology at the heart of how we engage with our customers. Data driven marketing and our customers digital experience are key areas we are focusing on constantly evolving to improve our customers experience alongside business performance.
Key accountabilities:
Interpret complex data analysis requirements and decide on the most appropriate solutions.
Provide direction and guidance to the wider team on the solution approach and design while prioritising tasks and resources within agreed parameters.
Identify solutions for complex analysis requests, including resolving data gaps and anomalies.
Deliver end to end performance reporting enhancements through data visualisation and distribution
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their analysis requirements and creates analytical solutions to achieve the desired results.
Present analytical findings to senior stakeholders and provide data-driven insights to inform key business decisions.
Independently develop dashboards and reporting
Champion a Customer First culture in support of our Purpose, strategic ambition and Brand Values, by ensuring processes and procedures consistently promote good outcomes for all our customers.
What you Will Bring:
3+ years’ experience in data analysis and website tracking desirable.
Relevant Degree or Postgrad qualification (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Data Analytics) and/or equivalent experience.
Subject matter expertise in Digital Analytics tools, e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics etc, and their uses
An adept understanding of organisational goals and transferring them into technical tracking requirements
A ruthless focus on Measurement & Effectiveness – and have an evidence based approach to decision making
Shape and guide the organisation on analytical approaches and set up
Work in cross functional teams and manage competing requirements
Ability to communicate effectively internally, engage & influence stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills and experience of delivering results within a high performing team.
