A dynamic and experienced Store Manager is required to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Galway shoe shop.


Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure high stock standards, presentation, health and safety, and stock loss prevention
* Plan, prioritise, and delegate tasks effectively
* Maintain a visually appealing store through merchandising
* Liaise with Head Office on a daily basis
* Engage positively with staff at all levels to maintain good morale
* Manage store deliveries and ensure both shop floor and storeroom are prepared
* Develop innovative strategies to increase footfall, turnover, and grow margins
* Adhere to company policies and procedures
* Manage day-to-day operations
* Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally


Ideal Candidate:

* Minimum 2-3 years retail store manager experience
* Excellent understanding of customer needs
* Possesses a passion and drive for retail
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy retail environment
* Professional attitude and approach to working in a retail environment
* Personable and confident in managing a team
* Can motivate self and colleagues and inspire high standards
* Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
