We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Investor Relations Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field who is eager to develop a career within private debt asset management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting investor communications, fund reporting, treasury management and data analysis, working closely with senior executives across the business and liaising closely with the investment teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting in the preparation of quarterly investor reports, capital account statements and valuations.
* Managing funds flows including investor drawdowns, distributions and redemptions in line with scheduled interest payment dates.
* Ensuring timely correspondence with investors and investor relationship management.
* Preparing responses to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
* Setting up and populating virtual data rooms to support investor due diligence and ensuring data accuracy.
* Updating historic loan data and track record with the assistance of the investment team on a quarterly basis.
* Preparation of marketing presentations for prospective investors.
* Supporting public relations and marketing activities for fundraising efforts including assisting with the organisation and scheduling of investor conferences and the annual Investor Day.
* Participating in strategic projects, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, data enhancement efforts, and the monitoring of loan data tapes and other key workstreams.
* Coordinating the onboarding of new investors and maintaining the investor portal.
* Attending weekly team meetings and preparing detailed meeting minutes.
Experience and Skills
* Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field, with relevant experience in private markets a plus.
* Strong analytical capability, both quantitative and qualitative.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with investment and finance team.
* Ability to foster and maintain good investor relationships, alongside a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude to all aspects of work.
* Strong prioritisation skills to assess the importance of competing demands and allocate time efficiently.
* Good proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
