Why You’ll Love Working Here:
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to join our team in Galway, Ireland. In this role, you'll support a wide range of HR functions across the employee lifecycle throughout the EMEA region. You will be the local HR expert on the ground while collaborating with and receiving support from our global HR team and reporting to the Director of HR in North America. You'll be an important point of contact for employees and managers, helping to create a positive, compliant, and inclusive work environment. This autonomous role requires strong familiarity with employment legislation across EMEA, including but not limited to Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Spain.
With a flexible hybrid work schedule, you can enjoy the best of both worlds—engaging in-person collaboration at our Galway office, while also benefiting from the autonomy and comfort of remote work. This role will be working 3+ days in-office per week at our Galway, Ireland office.
What You’ll Do:
* Act as the go-to HR representative for EMEA, delivering hands-on, full-cycle HR support to employees and managers across multiple countries.
* Coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure a smooth integration process.
* Advise managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation (with expertise in Irish and broader EU labor laws).
* Handle employee relations issues professionally and in a timely manner.
* Maintain HR records and ensure GDPR-compliant data management.
* Own and manage benefits administration, including pensions, healthcare, and leave management.
* Support performance management and development processes.
* Contribute to HR projects such as wellbeing, engagement, and DEI initiatives.
* Prepare HR metrics and reports for internal stakeholders.
Who You Are:
You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
* 2-3+ years’ experience in Human Resources.
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law, working familiarity with employment practices across EMEA, and HR best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Organised, with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
* CIPD qualification or working towards one is a plus.
