Fleet, Lease & LCV Sales Channel Manager
Gowan Auto, importers and distributors of multiple motor brands in Ireland, are seeking to recruit a Fleet, Lease & LCV Sales Channel Manager, for the Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Honda brands with a focus on Fiat LCV sales. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role is to help achieve and contribute to the annual national fleet sales and commercial sales objectives set by the Company.
The person appointed must have a first-class, proven track record in dealing with major national/international fleet, lease and rental customers, with an ability to drive forward the business in a highly competitive environment.
The role will require focus upon maximising the broad model range across all brands within the large fleet and key accounts sector. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrable and proven track record of exceptional sales, business management & communication skills in the automotive industry.
Key responsibilities with a primary focus on multi-channel sales mix across LCV and PC:
* Responsible for delivering agreed sales targets and fulfilling the full scope of the brands in the fleet and lease market.
* Fostering and developing key relationships with all fleet, lease and rental companies in Ireland to maximise all opportunities for our broad range of PCs and LCVs.
* Attaining Government and Stellantis key account tenders will be a crucial part of the role. Ensuring all tender opportunities are identified and fulfilled will be a core function of the position.
* Work closely with the dealer network to coach and develop local small fleet business in the dealer's territory. This will involve assisting the field sales team with dealer events and presentations and working with the current AOMs and the dealers to target and harvest small fleet business.
* Working with the manufacturer on new model rollout programs and associated launch tasks is of core importance.
* Working with the product and pricing teams, the candidate will strive to ensure accurate model, grade and specification planning is correctly forecast.
* Implement our LCV action plan with dealers.
* Achievement of budgeted sales targets and objectives for LCVs and PCs.
* Achievement of agreed market share objectives.
* Maintain positive relationship with Dealer Principals whilst motivating sales staff through monthly visit schedule and regular communications.
* Initiate and drive LCV sales and marketing actions at dealer level.
* Prepare weekly reports and updates on all channels.
* Assist in preparation and attend shows and events as required.
* Develop working knowledge of Vehicle Tracking System to provide cover for this function.
* Assist dealers with tailored CRM campaigns for LCVs.
