Job Description
Your new employer is Ireland's largest specialized fit-out contractor, known for delivering high-quality, bespoke interiors for a wide range of sectors, including commercial and retail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations on-site, overseeing all construction and fit-out activities.
* Coordinate and supervise all tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure the project progresses on time and within quality standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety protocols.
* Ensure health and safety practices are adhered to at all times and enforce safe working procedures.
* Provide regular project updates and report any issues or potential delays to the Project Manager.
* Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and prompt resolution of any issues.
* Oversee site logistics, including material deliveries and resource allocation, to avoid delays and keep the project on track.
* Manage the completion of site documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, and quality control records.
* Mentor and provide support to site staff, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and best practices.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in the fit-out or construction industry, with experience leading large, high-profile fit-out projects.
* Ideal qualifications include a trade background or construction management qualification.
* Expertise in managing specialized fit-out projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage and coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors on-site effectively.
* Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and industry best practices.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in construction management, SMSTS, First Aid) and a valid CSCS card are desirable.
