Here in Barden, we are delighted to be partnering with our multinational client in their search for a Senior Finance professional on an initial 12-month contract. This is a key hire for the business, offering exposure to local and global senior stakeholders.
Sitting in the heart of the manufacturing site, this will suit someone with strong costing experience, who is solutions driven and will bring fresh ideas to the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
1. Perform detailed financial analysis, becoming subject matter expert with the ability to provide meaningful insights to business stakeholders.
2. Take a lead role in the planning, coordination, and execution of the annual Standard Cost setting process.
3. Maintain internal controls for inventory accounting and costing.
4. Ensure accurate inventory costing for each stage of the manufacturing process.
5. Involvement in global inventory reconciliation & reporting.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business and cross-functional teams at all levels.
7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on creating efficiencies across the finance function.
8. Ad hoc duties and projects to support the growing needs of the business.
ABOUT THE PERSON
1. Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
2. Highly analytical, with a natural numerical aptitude.
3. Strong commercial acumen with customer centricity.
4. Strong leadership skills.
5. Excellent communicator with proven influencing skills across all levels.
