Job Description:
An Instrumentation Project Engineer is required for a biopharmaceutical company in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and participate in design, construction, and C&Q activities on site.
* Lead projects for facility modifications and capital equipment procurement.
* Assist the Capital Projects Manager in planning and tracking of activities.
* Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
* Provide technical process support throughout the project life cycle.
* Generate and execute commissioning & qualification activities if required.
* Generate change controls on Electronic QMS and drive their closure in a timely manner.
* Review turnover documentation from vendors.
* Setup and review contracts with Legal Representatives.
* Assist in setting up a capital project programme.
* Responsible for direct supervision of vendor engineers and contractors during engineering works on single or multiple capital projects.
* Use Permit to Work system or other safety systems of work to control engineering activities.
* Manage capital and cost benefit analysis.
* Participate in HAZOP and design reviews.
* Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals, and handover documentation.
Requirements:
* Relevant degree
* 8+ years relevant experience
* Instrumentation experience is required
* Experience of full project lifecycle is strongly preferred (ideally with PMP or equivalent)
* Experience working in GMP regulated environment
