Operations Manager (Part-Time) - Active Retirement Network Ireland
Location: Capel Street, Dublin 7 (Office-Based)
Hours: 3 days per week (Monday–Friday, flexible days)
Salary: €25,060 for the 21 hours 3 days 5 mornings/or a combo

Active Retirement Ireland (ARI) is a membership organisation that supports older people to remain independent in their communities for as long as possible. ARI, through the work of its volunteers at national, regional and local levels support older people to become more socially engaged; better aware of the importance of being active mentally and physically and be less lonely.

About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager will oversee the National Office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting members, managing office facilities, and leading a small team of two.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the Membership Support Service and maintain the database.
* Ensure compliance with governance, health & safety, and office procedures.
* Manage IT systems, office facilities, and resources.
* Supervise the Membership Support Team and coordinate staff leave.
* Support programmes, events, and identify operational risks with the CEO.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications: Degree in Public Administration, Business, Social Sciences, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years inoperations, resource management, or personnel management (NGO/charity experience a plus).
Skills:
* Strong organisation, leadership, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Salesforce or IT systems a plus).
