Mechanical Project Engineer required for a leading Biotech facility in Ringaskiddy, Cork, responsible for supporting and assisting the Core Projects Manager in the planning and organization of projects to achieve the project objectives safely within agreed time, cost and performance criteria. Initially a 12 month contract. Please contact Claire Role: Coordinate and Participate in Design, Construction and C&Q activities on site. Lead projects for facility modifications and equipment procurement. Assist the Core Projects Manager in the planning and tracking of activities Liaise with the various stakeholders on the projects to ensure clear communication between all parties. Provide technical process support to the project team throughout the project life cycle. Generate and execute Commissioning & Qualification activities if there is a requirement Generate change controls on Electronic QMS and drive their closure in a timely manner Review turnover documentation from vendors. Setup and review of contracts with Legal Representatives Responsibility for direct supervision of vendor engineers and contractors during engineering works on single or multiple projects. Use of Permit to work system or other safety systems of work to control engineering activities. Participation in HAZOP and design reviews Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals and handover documentation Other duties as assigned. Requirements: > 6 years' experience in Biopharmaceutical environment Hon. Degree or Masters in a Science or Mechanical Engineering discipline (preferably Biotechnology). Demonstrated knowledge in pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical technical / manufacturing operations.
