Job Summary:
National Beauty Distribution seeks a dynamic e-Commerce Manager to drive online success. The ideal candidate is well-versed in digital marketing and e-Commerce strategy, with expertise in ad campaigns, Shopify, and email marketing.
The role requires a fast-paced environment expert who can spearhead our digital growth strategy and propel us forward in the competitive e-Commerce space.
You will work closely with our Head of e-Commerce on day-to-day e-Commerce strategy, as well as with marketing, sales, and IT teams to deliver seamless online experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage aspects of our Shopify store, including product uploads, updates, and integrations.
* Collaborate with our Head of e-Commerce on project rollouts, including app providers, conversion rate optimisation, A/B testing, and revenue generation strategies.
* Analyse Shopify stores for breakages, bug fixes, and opportunities to improve sales online.
* Liaise with email marketing managers on key B2B and D2C activations to drive revenue and build email lists.
* Drive revenue and growth for multiple DTC and B2B eCommerce stores by managing promotions, identifying site improvements, and optimising overall store performance.
* Align digital initiatives with overall brand strategy through collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
* Manage elements of additional e-Commerce marketplaces, including TikTok Shop, Affiliates, and Amazon.
* Develop visual merchandising strategies, working with digital graphic designers to communicate store offers, promotions, and brand tone of voice with customers.
* Analyse web traffic metrics, conversion rates, and sales data to inform decision-making and optimise e-Commerce performance.
* Optimise the online customer journey, ensuring a seamless shopping experience from cart to checkout.
* Oversee inventory management and order fulfilment in collaboration with warehouse teams.
* Identify new opportunities for growth, from new product launches to emerging e-Commerce trends.
* Develop a tailored promotional strategy for each site to maximise sales and align with overall business objectives.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a dynamic team, ensuring effective collaboration, performance development, and achievement of team goals.
* Collaborate closely with the social media team to ensure alignment between e-Commerce strategies and social media campaigns.
* Report directly to the Head of e-Commerce, contributing to the development and execution of the overall e-Commerce strategy.
Technical Proficiency:
* Demonstrate a strong technical aptitude, including the ability to understand and follow system implementation procedures.
* Have a deep understanding of Shopify's native functionality and prioritise its use, while strategically limiting third-party apps.
* Effectively liaise with Operations and Warehouse teams on product launches, sales promotions, and other key initiatives.
* Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record in e-Commerce management, with hands-on experience in Shopify; B2B experience is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of digital ad platforms, including Meta and Google AdWords.
* Experience with Shopify reporting tools and GA4.
* A strong understanding of email marketing tools and strategies - Klaviyo preferred.
* Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in Google Analytics, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
* Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Degree in Marketing, Business, e-Commerce, or equivalent experience.
