The Role
As a Practice Accountant, you will play a crucial part in preparing comprehensive year-end financial statements for our clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare year-end financial statements for clients, incorporating all necessary adjustments and footnotes.
* Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including ledgers, journals, and other supporting documentation.
* Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within accountancy practice.
* Part-qualified or finalist in ACCA, ACA, or CPA, related to accounting not tax.
* Strong technical accounting and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
