Job Title: Site Manager

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Site Manager in Dublin, Ireland for the Grid Integration business. You will lead all on-site activities of a project to assure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements during the start-up, construction and/or erection, commissioning and maintenance phases.
Your Responsibilities
* Plan project on-site activities together with the Project Manager, including necessary resources, equipment and milestones.
* Coordinate agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy.
* Be responsible for the site from receiving the assigned site area from the customer until handing over it back to the customer on completion day.
* Serve as a project representative on site.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with customers as well as other local stakeholders.
* Ensure correct handling, storage and installation of equipment and material to avoid any damages.
* Report promptly to project logistics when goods have been received to site.
* Ensure that detailed and up-to-date risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are in place in respect of each work package, compliant with the project health and safety plan.
* Ensure all on-site resources are properly trained and proactively promote health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project.
* Control project cost for the project site work, monitor actual spend against forecasts, and estimate final cost for the same.
* Manage sub-contractors on site to ensure necessary quality and progress are achieved to meet delivery date and agreed standards.
* Report regularly to the Project Manager on site activities, HSE (health, safety, environment), quality, progress, cost.
Your Background
* Bachelor's in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent skills.
* 5+ years experience as Site Manager in construction and/or installation business.
* Good understanding of the transmission regulations and current HSE legislation.
* Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
* Proactive and flexible personality.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Swedish and good communication skills in English.
