Priority Construction are seeking a Health & Safety Officer to work nationwide.

The successful Health & Safety Officer will have:
* Relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification or equivalent.
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Can communicate and work well in a team environment.
* Experience working in the construction sector
Responsibilities:
* Carrying out site safety inspections.
* Carry out Risk Assessments & completing Method Statements as required.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
* Compiling registers of site safety inductions and training records for all employees and subcontractors.
* Liaising with Site Managers to ensure Health and Safety documentation is up to date on site.
* Maintaining the accident and dangerous occurrence register and tracking remedial actions.
* Accident and dangerous occurrence investigations.
* Ensuring compliance with accredited ISO standards.
* Completing pre-qual questionnaires and tenders.
* Assisting with compiling site specific health & safety documents and site safety folders & files.
* Developing Risk Assessment Method Statement (RAMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Safety Alerts and other required health & safety documents.
* Attending required meetings with clients as well as internal meetings.
* Attending training courses as required e.g. Train the Trainer and in turn developing and delivering internal training and toolbox talks.
* Dealing with general health & safety issues as they arise.
