Job Description:
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Role Overview
This is a developmental opportunity; no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
CE Participants will develop practical skills in horticulture, landscaping, routine garden maintenance, and/or retail area through practical work, training, and shadowing existing staff.
The role provides practical support and assistance to vulnerable adults and people with disabilities in employment at the Kilcannon Garden Centre.
Training is a requirement of this CE Gardening role, with the ultimate aim of CE Participants' progression into employment or further education.
Basic IT skills are desirable as online training is required.
