About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Butcher to join our team in East Co. Galway.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all HACCP and food safety policies & procedures are adhered to, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.
* Drive a strong team culture of trust and commitment as an experienced member of the team.
* Keep the customer at the heart of everything, delivering exceptional service and product quality.
Requirements:
* Valid Irish work permit required.
* Passion for butchery with good knife skills and knowledge of different meat cuts.
* At least 2 years' experience in a butcher role, supermarket, or fresh meat industry.
* Basic food hygiene knowledge.
* Pride in appearance with ability to work in a tidy and safe manner.
* Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
Working Environment:
A 7-day week retail operation requiring flexibility in terms of availability and working hours.
Personal Qualities:
* Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
* Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility are essential.
Education and Qualifications:
* Qualification in Butchery preferred.
