Job Title: Grade IV Human Resource Clerical Officer
Location: Limerick
Hours: 35 hours, Monday - Friday
Rate of Pay: €19.30 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary - 3 Contract initially
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* Administration: Ensure efficient day-to-day administration, meet deadlines, and maintain service levels.
* Support preparation and issuing of office documentation to highest standard.
* Maintain confidentiality of documentation and records.
* Maximise use of technology to ensure high-quality work.
* Ensure line management is informed of issues and stakeholders are kept updated.
* Organise meetings, take minutes, and prepare for circulation.
Customer Service
* Promote customer-focused environment and monitor efficiency of service provided by team.
* Treat service users with dignity and respect.
* Act on feedback from service users and report to Line Manager.
Human Resources/Supervision of Staff
* Co-operate with other teams and disciplines.
* Maintain accurate and readily available archives and records.
* Participate in projects/initiatives as assigned.
Standards, Policies, Procedures, and Legislation
* Maintain knowledge of employer policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices.
* Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and legislation (e.g., Financial Regulations, Health & Safety Legislation, Employment Legislation, FOI Acts, GDPR).
* Ensure consistent adherence to procedures within area of responsibility.
Essential Criteria
* Experience working in HR environment.
* Understanding of HR policies and procedures.
* Strong team working skills and ability to build effective relationships.
* Good working knowledge of SAP HR and reporting tools.
* Excellent MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent organisational, time management, and administration skills.
Professional Knowledge
* Knowledge of relevant legislation.
* Experience using email systems effectively.
* Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service plan targets.

* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
* Capacity to respond to changes in a plan.
