Position
We require a technically excellent Project Engineer who has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be a vital part of the team and will be supporting the Director with the continued growth of Ayesa through successful tendering and project delivery.

Key Accountabilities
1. Working as a member of a project team to deliver quality services to clients.
2. Experienced & confident with report writing and presentation skills.
3. Ensures that design solutions are completed on time and that designs fulfil the project brief.
4. Monitors processes and results and check that they comply with relevant safety, legal, ethical and regulatory requirements.
5. Ability to make appropriate judgements and decisions and exercise initiative.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships, always aiming to exceed client expectations.
7. Adheres to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations.
8. Represent and promote Ayesa in a professional manner and develop effective working relationships with clients and potential clients.
Requirements
1. Degree or masters in civil engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience.
3. Experience in the field of drinking water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, drainage and flood risk management and assessment, ideally in Ireland and/or UK.
4. Experience with hydraulic modelling software packages, especially fluvial modelling.
5. Experience in hydrology, hydraulic engineering, river engineering and flood risk management.
6. Management experience including experience in management systems for quality, financial and project controls.
7. Proven experience in Project Management of Water Infrastructure Projects.
8. Superior communication skills including international collaboration with other offices, team motivation and leadership and client relationship development.
9. The ability to deliver technically excellent client solutions.
10. Working towards or having Chartered status or equivalent qualification.
