Your Role As a Quality Controller you are responsible for all aspects of Quality in QTP. You are responsible for coordinating the necessary activities for ensuring the timely closure of quality issues. Lead projects and coordinate and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality. Responsibilities Investigating root cause of supplier issues and ensuring follow through of timely and effective corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence Lead and drive Supplier QA initiatives within area of functional responsibility Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Quality Function Develop and sustain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with the required industry standards, accreditation requirements and business requirements Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities Support new product launches to ensure Supplier Quality meets the required standards Reporting functional Supplier Quality metrics Ensure that all quality-focused activities operate in accordance with local health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors. Performing audits (internal audits and supplier) Interface with sales team and customers to ensure complaints are communicated and corrective actions are closed in a timely manner. Key Skills Practical hands-on approach with a can-do attitude Ability to communicate at all levels internal & external is essential Extensive knowledge of the tractor market from classic to modern Team player and capable of handling heavy duty parts Attention to detail and capable of following tasks through to completion.
